Death of a Wish

Death of a Wish is a surreal action-adventure game by melessthanthree, and the official sequel to the 2018 queer cult-hit "Lucah: Born of a Dream".

Christian sets off on a quest for revenge against the Sanctum, the oppressive religious organization that raised him. By taking down the four Faiths, Father, Sister, Cardinal, and Priest, he aims to collapse the Sanctum and free others from their rule.

Death of a Wish deals with themes of religious trauma and social alienation. Driven by righteous anger, Christian must break out of his individualized worldview and trust in others in order to accomplish his mission for a better world.

Players will master a lighting-fast combat system to explore a bleak dreamworld filled with monsters. They will encounter similarly traumatized characters along their journey, and work together with them to overcome the Sanctum.
